Attended a school sponsored presentation of Common Core Standards... there is a need to understand their implications for teaching, for parenting, for understanding the principles of child development. Policy makers can be questioned, can be challenged, can be presented with research, writings, educational programs that have proven to serve the multiplicity of needs, the diversity of learning styles, the realms of creativity and the benefits of independent thinking.
